Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together. 

 With care and patience, each broken piece is reconnected to another to become strong and whole again. Every flaw, break and crack is joined and illuminated with gold.  

Because kintsugi celebrates unique marks of .imperfection, each art form is truly one-of-a-kind with dazzling displays of beautiful golden ribbons and crevices.  No vessel ever breaks the same way - so every piece is indeed unique.  

I love Japanese kintsugi for message it sends; it says "You don't have to be perfect to be beautiful".  

Kintsugi accepts that just like cracked vessels, we as human beings are not perfect either.  We've all had our trials and tribulations, personal life experiences that have made imprints. Kintsugi reminds us that no one's life is perfect - life can be messy  - and that's okay!  With a focus on positivity during the art making process - we accept all that life brings, rebuild, and move forward to become stronger. 

My passion is to help others see that their lives are beautiful using kintsugi's metaphor as a guiding light.  

 By understanding kintsugi's profound meaning, you will create a treasured piece that will carry its positive message forever in your life.
